SG - Biocompatible Resin for Surgical Guide About
Works with any DLP or LED/LCD 3d printer
Vitaresin Surgical Guide is a transparent, biocompatible Class I material developed for high-precision implant-guided surgeries. High-resolution and fast 3D printing with outstanding mechanical properties provides you with the best implant guidance in a cost-effective way. Due to the high precision of this material, it is easy to insert drill shells immediately after printing.
- High flexural strength and resistance
- Transparent, odourless and tasteless
- Sterilisable using standard autoclave protocols
- Low cost, fast return on investment
- Suitable for 3D printers with 365nm/385nm and 405nm wavelength

Biocompatible
Biocompatible and safe to use in the mouth. Made of biocompatible raw material used in dental applications

Hit
Provides accurate printing with details and can be printed below 10 microns and provides 0.1 mm thickness

Liquid
This resin has a low viscosity. It is easy to clean and provides high lubricity after cleaning

Safe and Odourless
Safe to use. No hazardous solvents or dangerous monomers

Low Tensile
This resin has low shrinkage and does not change shape after curing

Compatible with 365,385nm and 405nm
You can use this resin with any printer with 365-385nm or 405nm light source

Accurate and Precise Drilling
Specially developed to perform precise surgical implant procedures

Pressure Resistant
Withstands high pressure and enables the production of aligners by vacuum forming

SG Resin Storage Conditions and After Processing
Store the Vitaresin SG bottle at room temperature (20-24 °C) in a dark and moisture-free place.
Remember to shake the resin well before use.
Post-processing Steps
1- Washing
- After printing is complete, wash the part attached to the build plate with ethyl alcohol (>90%) or isopropyl alcohol (>90%) for 5 minutes.
- Ensure that the alcohol completely covers the part during washing. As SG resin is biocompatible, never wash with alcohol previously used for other resins.
- Use a brush to remove uncured resin if necessary.
- Do not over wash, it may cause distortion in the dimensions of the part.
2- Drying
- Use an air compressor to dry the washed part.
- Make sure the part is dry and the uncured resin is completely removed.
- If there is still uncured resin left on the part, wash with fresh alcohol and dry again.
3- Part Disassembly
- Remove the printed part from the build plate using a scraping tool.
- Be very careful not to damage the model.
4- After Curing
- With general UV curing, you can achieve a flexural strength of 92 MPa in 20 minutes and 97 MPa in 30 minutes.
- With a professional curing machine such as Autoflash, you can achieve
With 5000 flashes you can reach 104 MPa flexural strength,
100 MPa bending strength with 10000 flash without gas.
- After curing, the supports should be carefully removed from the model and then the desired sandblasting and polishing can be done.
